why shop with local makers?

Shopping local with handmade designs by local artists offers numerous benefits…

It allows customers to support their local economy and foster a sense of community. By purchasing from local artists, you directly contribute to the growth and sustainability of small businesses, helping to create jobs and provide opportunities for your fellow community members.

Buying from local makers promotes the preservation of unique artistic traditions and craftsmanship. Each handmade piece tells a story, reflecting the heritage and creativity of the local artists. By choosing these products, customers can own one-of-a-kind items, that are not mass-produced, whilst nurturing the creativity of individual artists.

Additionally, shopping local promotes sustainability by reducing the carbon footprint associated with long-distance transportation. This eco-conscious decision helps to protect the environment and preserve resources.

Investing in handmade designs by local artists benefits the customer, creator and the community.
