Set in the stunning back drop of the historical and coastal town of St Andrews, in Scotland, East Nook Studio offers the most romantic experience of making your loved one’s wedding rings, with your own fair hands.
The day will entail the making of your rings, photographs of the day and of course a lovely glass of fizz to finish the day!
Based in the centre of this quaint town, at the ancient West Port entrance to the old city, the studio is found up a cobbled courtyard in an old Malt barn, from 1845.
The studio will be exclusively yours for the experience, where Alana will guide you through the process of making your wedding rings, including measuring, soldering, and forming your rings. At this point you may choose and create the finish for your ring. Perhaps you would like a satin finish or hammered texture or maybe you would prefer a traditional mirror finish?
The choice is yours at every stage of this experience, from selecting your precious metal, the shape, thickness, width and finish of the bands.

The experience starts before you even come to the studio!
Beginning with a pre-consultation, where you will decide on your choice of precious metal and band style, we will then select a date for your special making day. The consultation can be in person, via email or a video call.
There are many other options and added extras that you can choose from, such as Hallmarking, Engraving and sending your rings to be cast in another metal, like Platinum.*
*If selecting a precious metal that would not be suitable for a beginner to work with, we will advise making your rings in silver on the day and sending these to be cast into your chosen metal. Don’t worry, we take care of all of the additional admin work and can provide a quote for the casting service.
Make a day of it, by booking dinner and taking a stroll along one of our three award winning beaches and golf courses, all a stones throw from the studio.
We are surrounded by fabulous independent cafes, bars and restaurants and will be happy to recommend places to visit, eat and stay.
